Florals of the Cyclades

I do not paint these flowers as objects, but as moments of pause within the landscape.
They appear where stone gives way, where light lingers close to the ground.
Petals catch the same silence as walls and paths, holding color briefly before returning it to the air.
In these works, the Cyclades bloom quietly — not in abundance, but in presence.

They are not symbols, nor decorations, but small affirmations of life between surfaces shaped by time.
Painted slowly, with restraint, they echo the rhythm of the islands themselves, where nothing insists and everything remains.
