Rooms of Light

I wanted to capture that silence that lives inside the white walls, the still air between window and shadow, the feeling of time paused in warmth.
Each room is a world of its own — a small island of peace between sea and sun.

I used wet-on-wet watercolor to let the light expand softly through the paper, and gradient washes to follow its fading across walls.
These works are meditations on presence and absence — on the light that fills a space, and the silence it leaves behind.
