The Wind & the Light

Το Νησί των Ανέμων. The island of winds. This is what we Greeks call Mykonos.
And when I stand by the harbor, I feel that name in my bones.
The wind tightens everything — the ropes, the boats, even the light.
I watch the vessels pull and sway, almost touching as they fight the water, their reflections breaking into foam and scattered brightness.
The sea rises in sudden breaths, shadows race across the white walls,
and I paint that restless moment — where wind, water, and silence collide inside me.
