The Color of Stillness
The Color of Stillness
Red, blue, green, and yellow — doors that hold the warmth of time.
Each one stands in the sun, silent and certain, its color softened by salt, wind, and years of light.
I painted them as moments of presence —not entrances or exits, but pauses between. The way a color fades, the way it remembers the sun,
the way stillness can feel alive.
In these doors, I found the quiet rhythm of the islands — the poetry of simplicity, and the calm persistence of light itself.
