I imagined a quiet moment on the shore — a straw hat resting on a woven bag, a bright scarf caught in the sunlight, lemons beside an open book, and the turquoise sea beyond. I wanted to hold on to that effortless pause, when even the next page can wait.
I borrowed the title of Elaine Dundy’s The Dud Avocado for its spirited, unconventional energy. I like the gentle contrast between that lively story and the stillness of this Aegean afternoon.

Description
The Paper I Use
Hahnemühle William Turner 190gsm
A 100% cotton, mould-made fine-art paper with a distinct watercolor texture and a soft matte surface. Its natural white tone and delicate grain bring depth to the pigments while preserving the gentle transitions of light in my original watercolor.
Acid- and lignin-free, without optical brighteners, it is designed for archival fine-art printing.
The Edition
