The Summer Book — Tove Jansson
125,00 €
I have always loved those summer afternoons when time seems to lose its importance. A hammock in the shade, an open book left on the sand, and the sea stretching quietly beyond the trees. Nothing needs to happen. Being there is enough.
I borrowed the title of Tove Jansson’s The Summer Book because it reminds me of that simple freedom — the feeling of belonging to a place, even if only for an afternoon. I wanted to paint a moment I could return to whenever summer feels far away.

Description
The Paper I Use
Hahnemühle William Turner 190gsm
A 100% cotton, mould-made fine-art paper with a distinct watercolor texture and a soft matte surface. Its natural white tone and delicate grain bring depth to the pigments while preserving the gentle transitions of light in my original watercolor.
Acid- and lignin-free, without optical brighteners, it is designed for archival fine-art printing.
