The Waves — Virginia Woolf
125,00 €
I see this painting as a moment that refuses to stand still. Warm light dissolves into pale blue, while delicate lines seem to drift between what I remember and what is already disappearing.
I chose the title of Virginia Woolf’s The Waves because it speaks to me of movement, time, and the quiet rhythm of things passing. I am not trying to illustrate the novel. I am simply following that same feeling of life continually changing, even in its stillest moments.

Description
The Paper I Use
Hahnemühle William Turner 190gsm
A 100% cotton, mould-made fine-art paper with a distinct watercolor texture and a soft matte surface. Its natural white tone and delicate grain bring depth to the pigments while preserving the gentle transitions of light in my original watercolor.
Acid- and lignin-free, without optical brighteners, it is designed for archival fine-art printing.
